At Yale, they served as editor in chief of the Yale Daily News Magazine, a monthly publication for narrative journalism, fiction, poetry and the arts. In 2016, they started a participatory journalism project called Austin Street Humans to build relationships with people experiencing homelessness and share about their life stories.
